Nigerian state oil company Gas Marketing Limited opened a gas distribution office in Ikeja, Lagos on Monday.
Built by Tilt Energy Limited, the facility includes multiple offices, including conference rooms, reception areas, waiting rooms, and a truck loading station to supply customers with gasoline across the state.
At the opening, NGML Gas Distribution Managing Director Lawrence Chuku said the project will increase domestic gas production and distribution.
Meanwhile, Justin Ezelu, CEO of NNPC Gas Marketing Limited, said the project is part of the federal government’s efforts to deepen gas usage, move away from flaring and reach more consumers.
TILT Energy Limited Managing Director Austin Ifije said the contractor, who has been in business for about 10 years, is proud to be part of the project.
