Co-working space provider, Regus Nigeria, has said the availability of workspaces would aid productivity.
Speaking at the unveiling of its eighth co-working space office in Lagos, Executive Vice Chairman, Regus Nigeria, Mr Ayo Akinmade, explained that access to funding had become a challenge for some businesses, thereby, creating a barrier for those looking to obtain contracted office space.
Regus is the flagship brand of International Workplace Group Plc.
He revealed that the co-working space solution was born to bridge the gap between the costs of setting up a business and moving businesses closer to the homes of clients, new networks, and opportunities.
He said, “Businesses are facing challenges with the rise in real estate costs. This is one area where Regus flexible workspace comes into play. It will bring the workplace closer to Nigerians.
“Regus offers a transformative flexible workplace solution that alleviates the significant financial burdens associated with renting office space in a premium location and levelling the playing field for companies that are unable to invest in permanent space.”
He added that flexible working boosts employee happiness and satisfaction while helping the environment.
Our workplace model is also proven to increase productivity and allows for business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs.”
