The Radisson Hotel Group opens its first resort in Zambia.

The launch of the Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort in Zambia has been announced by the Radisson Hotel Group.

The resort, which is tucked away on the Zambezi River’s banks, is the Group’s first safari lodge in both Africa and Zambia.

The resort’s debut, according to a statement released by the owners on Friday, is an important step toward their objective of having 150 hotels up or under construction across Africa by 2025.
The Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort is in a prime location close to the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, 2 kilometers south of Livingstone’s historic center, and 4 kilometers northwest of the well-known Victoria Falls, one of the world’s seven natural wonders and a revered UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The resort was built and will run with the utmost regard for one of the biggest waterfalls in the world and the habitat for various rare kinds of plants and animals.
In comparison to other comparable buildings in the area, the hotel’s energy efficiency, water reduction, and usage of sustainable building materials increased by 20%, earning it a renowned EDGE green building certification.

The resort has endorsed the UNESCO Sustainable Tourism Pledge, which is consistent with the Radisson Hotel Group’s celebrated and well-known Responsible Business initiative.

There are 200 rooms, lavish suites, and villas at the Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya, Livingstone Resort in Zambia, many of which have unrivaled views of the Zambezi River.
The resort’s specialized all-day dining restaurant is available to guests, and they can sip their favorite beverage in the Shungu Bar & Lounge, the Viewing Deck, or the Pool Bar that overlooks the Zambezi River.

For guests seeking a place to be active or cool down with a soothing dip, the resort has a fitness center, spa, and swimming pools.

Guests can take advantage of the beautiful sunsets and African evenings by using the outdoor boma and bonfire.

With its more than 500 square meter ballroom, boardrooms, and meeting rooms, the hotel makes a great location for parties and gatherings.

Visitors at the Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort have the chance to partake in both a distinctive River Cruise and off-the-river adventure excursions, including as wildlife drives, water rafting, canoeing, and activities on the Victoria Falls Bridge.

“I am thrilled to lead the team as we open this magnificent property,” says Shaun Wheeler, general manager of the Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort in Zambia. “We can now provide visitors with memorable moments and exciting experiences like exploring one of the Seven Wonders of the World (The Victoria Falls), which is close to the hotel.”
