Girls’ education activist Malala Yousafzai has become the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. She received world-class awards at the age of 17. She received the Nobel Peace Prize for her fight for the right to education for all girls. When the Taliban took over their hometown of Swat in 2008, the school they attended was burned down and the girls were ordered not to go to school.
