The Nigerian Bottling Company said it has empowered over 22, 000 youths across 10 cities, seven campuses within the digital space in partnership with international business machines, between 2017 when the company started its youth empowerment program till date.
In a statement, during the company’s youth empowered programme in Owerri, Imo State, NBC said that the initiative was part of the organisation’s commitment to strategically complement national efforts towards enabling youths to unleash their potential while creating an enabling business environment that supports innovation and growth of the Nigerian economy.
The statement read in part, “NBC’s Youth Empowered initiative which commenced in 2017 and has since impacted over 22,000 youths. The initiative is part of the organisation’s commitment to strategically complement national efforts towards enabling youths to unleash their potential while creating an enabling business environment that supports innovation and growth of the Nigerian economy.”
The Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Directors, NBC, Ekuma Eze, said he was excited to expand the opportunities for Nigerian youth.
